Rasika Dugal Shares Throwback Gold From Delhi Crime Season 2 Sets

Rasika Dugal has shared a set of throwback BTS photos from the much-loved and acclaimed web series Delhi Crime Season 2. The first picture captures Rasika and the team sitting on a staircase. Another shot features Rasika striking a pose for the camera. It’s clear from these pictures that Rasika had a fantastic time with the team on the sets of Delhi Crime. The final photo, in the series, is extra special as it features a selfie of Rasika with her husband, actor Mukul Chadda, who visited her on the set.

“The Best Team reporting from the set of Delhi Crime 2,” wrote Rasika. She also added descriptions for each picture. It read, “The Best Team 2. Neeti Singh having a moment 3. The Best Team again 4. Tough shoes to fill 5. We mean business 6. Too much time in between scenes 7. Visitor on set.”

Netflix’s Delhi Crime season 2 explores the chilling tale of the Kachcha Baniyan Gang, a notorious criminal group that terrorised northern India during the 1990s. True to their name, this gang reportedly committed crimes while dressed only in undergarments, using tactics like applying oil on their bodies to slip away from being held. Their shocking attire, coupled with their heinous crimes, including robberies, murders, rapes and assaults.

The story for this season was inspired by a book written by Neeraj Kumar, former commissioner of the Delhi Police, who recounted the terrifying events of the 1990s.

The series boasts a star-studded cast, including Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal, Rajesh Tailang, Adil Hussain, Tillotama Shome and Anurag Arora.

Previously, in 2020, the first season of Delhi Crime made history by winning the International Emmy for Best Drama Series, marking India’s first-ever Emmy win. The second season was released on Netflix in August 2022.

As for Rasika, she was most recently seen in the spy-drama series Shekhar Home. In this mini-series, Rasika played the role of Iraboty, alongside stars like Kay Kay Menon and Ranvir Shorey, with support from actors like Kirti Kulhari, Shernaz Patel, Satish Badal and others.
