Zeenat Aman on Tuesday shared a throwback photo featuring Dimple Kapadia. She also penned a sweet note for her. Well, Twinkle Khanna, daughter of Dimple Kapadia, has reacted to the post and sent the reply. She also shared the photo on her handle and mentioned thank you.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Twinkle Khanna wrote, “What a lovely picture and mom says thank you for your gracious words (red heart emoji).” Zeenat Aman mentioned in the post saying, “Dimple and I both got big career breaks thanks to Raj Kapoor. She as a teenager, when she was cast in and as Bobby. Whereas I was able to deliver a blow to my “western image” thanks to SSS. This isn’t a post about Dimple’s talent though she has that in spades, it’s about the little I saw of her character. During a very difficult phase in my life, she was one of a mere handful of people who publicly stood by me. This despite the criticism and scrutiny of her own life that the decision invited!”

On the work front, Dimple Kapadia was last seen in Tere Bataon Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya co starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. The film was a huge success and also starred Dharmendra in pivotal roles. And Zeenat Aman is all set to star in Manish Malhotra’s directorial debut Bun Tikki. She will be seen sharing the screen space with Shabana Azmi. Zeenat and Shabana previously shared screen space in Ishk Ishk Ishk (1974) and Ashanti (1982). Bun Tikki also stars Abhay Deol. Manish shared a picture of these three actors on Instagram and provided details about the project.
Recently, Twinkle Khanna shared a post in which she talked about motherhood. Twinkle discussed the contrasts between motherhood during her childhood and the modern-day challenges she faces as a mother. She humorously recounted her transition into motherhood in 2002, narrating an incident where her husband Akshay Kumar jokingly referred to her as ‘milking’, humorously marking her shift from a glamorous figure to a nurturing mother.
