Agastya Nanda Joins Instagram Month After The Archies Release, Shweta Bachchan Sends 'Love and Hugs'
Agastya Nanda made his acting debut in December 2023 with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.

Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda joined the social media platform Instagram on Thursday, January 11. This comes a month after the star kid made his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.

Soon after joining Instagram, Agastya dropped a dapper picture of himself and impressed all. Among others, his mother Shweta Bachchan rushed to the comments section to welcome him on the social media platform. “Love and hugs baby boy,” she wrote. Navya Nanda also commented, “Welcome”. Zoya Akhtar also wrote, “Hello there” with a red heart emoji, whereas Arjun Kapoor welcomed Agastya by calling him “Aggy Boy”.

While everyone welcomed Agastya to Instagram, Sikander Kher asked him the reason for joining the social media platform. “Aggie Paggie .. Kyun kiya ye ? There’s still time to return to normal life .. but welcome and I love you,” he wrote.

Agastya Nanda made his acting debut in December 2023 with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. The film also starred Suhana Khan, Kushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Dot and Yuvraj Menda in key roles.

Next, if reports are to be believed, Agastya has bagged his second movie, Sriram Raghavan’s Ekkis. It is touted to be a biopic of the 1971 war hero, Arun Khetarpal and will also star veteran actor Dharmendra in a key role. Reportedly, Agastya is reading the script these days and will begin shooting for this film soon.

“December and the first half of January will be spent by Agastya in reading the script and also doing some workshops to rehearse for the schedule ahead. Sriram wanted a young actor to play the part of Arun Khetarpal and feels that Agastya fits the role like a hand in a glove. After months of prep, Sriram and Agastya are now all set to commence the journey of bringing the heroic tale to the big screen,” a source close to the film told India Today recently.
