Megan Fox has publicly opened up about going through a miscarriage with her fiance rapper Colson Baker, who goes by the stage name Machine Gun Kelly. The revelation came as poetry in the excerpts of her book titled Pretty Boys Are Poisonous. According to a report by Page Six, the poems penned by her narrate an ultrasound picture of their unborn child, lying on her bedside at 10 weeks 1 day. “Do you think that if she could have, she would have left a suicide note,” Megan asks. The Transformers actress mentions coming to terms with the harrowing situation and bidding goodbye to the infant was quite traumatic.
She reportedly wrote, “I close my eyes and imagine holding you tight against my chest as they rip you from my insides. I will pay any price, tell me please, what is the ransom for her soul?” Now, during a sit-down interview with Good Morning America, Megan Fox reflected on her pregnancy loss saying it was something that she has never gone through before. The loss was quite difficult for her and Machine Gun Kelly and it sent them on a wild journey to decipher why it happened to them. “I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us. And it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately, and together and apart, and together and apart, and together and apart, trying to navigate: ‘What does this mean? Why did this happen,’” she told GMA.
Besides the pregnancy loss, Megan also wrote about experiencing abuse in her past high-profile relationships. According to Megan, the book is neither an expose nor her life memoir. It was a medium to channel her harrowing experiences and excise the illness that made her “body ache from carrying the weight of their (past lovers) sins.”
Megan told GMA she has experienced physical abuse in at least one of her past relationships and she has been in several psychologically abusive relationships. “I have only been publicly connected to a few people but I shared energy, I guess you could say, [with] people who were horrific people – also very famous, very famous people. But no one knows that I was involved with those people,” she continued.
Before she got engaged with Machine Gun Kelly, Megan was married to actor Brian Austin Green. The former couple who share three children, 11-year-old Noah, 9-year-old Bodhi, and 7-year-old Journey, stayed married for 10 years before finally separating in 2020. The same year she went public with her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, who has a 14-year-old daughter from a past relationship. The couple announced their engagement in 2022.
