Amid escalating tensions between Israel and Palestine, the Indian Embassy on Wednesday asked its citizens to remain calm and vigilant and follow security advisories. The embassy in Israel has also issued helpline numbers along with an email ID to contact, in case of any emergencies.

In a recorded message on the X (formally Twitter), India’s Ambassador to Israel, Sanjeev Singla, said, “This is to assure you that the embassy is working constantly for your safety and welfare. All of us are going through very difficult times but please do remain calm and vigilant and follow the local security guidelines. We are here to help you, and we thank many of you who have sent so many messages of appreciation to us. We are monitoring the situation closely and please stay tuned for any updates from the embassy. 24-hr Control Room in MEA to Monitor Situation

Israel’s ambassador to India Naor Gilon spoke exclusively to News18 and underlined that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was one of the first few world leaders to show support to Israel after the Gaza attack on October 7.
