The Indian Super League (ISL) 2020-21 final will be played between ATK Mohun Bagan and Mumbai City FC at the Fatorda Stadium on Saturday. Mumbai City FC won the ISL Shield, finishing on top of the table in the league stage of the league while ATK Mohun Bagan finished second. Both these teams also managed to win their semi-finals over the two legs and are now going to have the one big battle for the ISL title.

Amey Ranawade vs Manvir Singh
This one should be a very interesting battle as Manvir is likely to give Amey a hard time. Manvir has been a much improved player since making his move to ATK Mohun Bagan with the young Indian striker playing a pivotal role in the attacking trio of Roy Krishna, David Williams and him. However, so far in the season, Amey has done well against some big names like even when he had to deal with Ortiz cutting to the right and Romario’s pace. It will be interesting to see how Amey deals with Manvir’s pace and stops him from getting balls into the middle.
Roy Krishna vs Mourtada Fall
This is a huge, huge battle! Both are physical specimens and both are well known for their prowess. Krishna can be a hassle for any defender and Mourtada will have to be his vigilant best all night to keep him at bay. Roy Krishna has his eyes on the Golden Boot and will do everything he can to get to that prize and help his team win. Fall is a big presence and Krishna will need to work his way around.
Ahmed Jahouh vs Carl McHugh
Jahouh and McHugh are both extremely crucial to their teams. It’s likely to be a staunch battle in the midfield. While Jahouh is known for breaking through defences, McHugh is the rock for ATKMB ahead of the defence. Jahouh is extremely dangerous on set pieces but it is also his ability to put a long pass behind the defence for his attackers that makes him click. For McHugh, he is the hand of the clock without whom ATKMB would miss solidity at the back.
Adam Le Fondre vs Tiri
Le Fondre has scored 11 goals this season and has been a potent threat from MCFC’s side while Tiri has been solid as ever for ATK Mohun Bagan. Le Fondre is a supremely hard-working forward and that will make Tiri’s job a lot harder. Tiri is known to be a very solid defender who doesn’t make too many mistakes and if Le Fondre wants to break through him, he will have to be on his best.
Hugo Boumous vs Lenny Rodrigues
Boumous is the creative influence in the MCFC while Lenny Rodrigues is the solid presence in the midfield for ATKMB. Since moving to ATKMB, Lenny has been doing what he did best at FC Goa as well, stop movements from the middle of the park. Boumous, on the other hand, is known to be extremely influential in games and has a knack to creating delightful play.
