New Delhi: Noted Bollywood writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar has said that 90 per cent Indian oppose BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. Taking on Modi supporters, Akhtar tweeted: "Some idiots imply that opposing Modi is an anti national activity. Are they suggesting that we , the 90 % Indians are anti nationals."
His tweet soon attracted a lot of attention with Modi supporters criticising him for taking on the Gujarat Chief Minister.
Earlier, too Akhtar had criticised Modi for twisting facts and getting his history wrong during his Hunkar rally in Patna's Gandhi Maidan on October 27. He had also tweeted that Modi's supporters on social media were of "low quality".
