New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party government has completed its first month in power in the national capital. The AAP which came to power after a spectacular victory in the Assembly elections listed out its achievements in the past one month.
He also spoke about his plans and said that the money in Delhi needs to be used "efficiently in a transparent manner" for the betterment of the national capital. he also said that certain things can't be done overnight. "It takes time. Won't tolerate strikes even after we promised them help," he said.
He refrained from commenting on the recently held protest "Won't comment on whether the dharna was right or wrong. I meet all protestors. How many chief ministers do the same," he said.
The Chief Minister assured of protecting the honest police officials. "We gave Rs 1 crore compensation to the family of a constable killed by a liquor mafia," he said.
He also said that the Delhi government was putting in its best efforts to improve the quality of education at government schools.
Kejriwal firmly backed the state law minister over the allegations against him and said, "we will hire good lawyers to represent the government."
