BJP will brood over their mistakes in the party's National Executive on Monday.

New Delhi: After their campaign for Presidency failed to take off, BJP is left with not much choice but to brood over the mistakes of the past in their National Executive that begins on Monday.

Not only did the party fail to unite the Opposition NDA for their presidential nominee Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, the attempts to target UPA nominee Pratibha Patil also boomeranged.

Obviously there is a lot to think about

“We will discuss Ram Sethu, agricultural issues and the political scenario,” said BJP spokesperson Prakash Jawadekar.

Presidential poll apart, BJP will also have to explain what went wrong with mission Uttar Pradesh where they came up with their worst performance ever.

But sources say party chief Rajnath Singh is reluctant to go into details of the mistakes the party made. After all this was his state, and he was supposed to do wonders.

The party will also introspect on Rajasthan with the recent Gurjar Meena violence posing a question mark over the credibility of chief minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia.

Many in the party want her sacked.

After the nationwide drubbing on different levels, it’s make or break time for the party.

In 2008 eight states go to Assembly polls and BJP would be hoping that its fortune will turn.
