Taukir Raza Khan, a state minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, is angry over the way Samajwadi Party has reacted on the riots.

CPI(M) on Wednesday asked the Centre to take urgent steps to secure the release of 210 Indian fishermen from Sri Lankan custody and initiate talks with Colombo on the problems being faced by "fishermen of both the countries".

"Here, the Shiv Sena is there, and it carries the saffron flag of Shivaji Maharaj," party President Uddhav Thackeray said.
