New Delhi: Asus is all geared up to launch its ZenFone Max smartphone for the Indian market today. The phone was unveiled last year in August and will make its Indian debut via Flipkart starting at 12PM.

The Asus ZenFone Max features a 5.5-inch IPS display with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4 atop for scratch-resistance, strength and everyday durability. At its heart is a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with up to 2 GB of RAM.

However, the highlight of the phone is its 5000 mAh battery that also doubles as a power bank, which means one could use the phone to charge other devices.

The phone comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera with a wide f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera also boasts laser auto-focus. This dual SIM smartphone supports SIM cards with 4G capability.

It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Asus ZenUI. The ZenFone Max has an internal storage of 16 GB, and its memory can be further expanded using a microSD card of up to 64 GB.
