New Delhi:After introducing the feature in its Apple Watch and new MacBook, Apple is said to insert the new Force Touch feature in its upcoming iPhones.
According to people familiar with the matter, the tech giant has starting manufacturing the next iPhones, which will be similar to the iPhone 6 models, but include the new technology that determines levels of pressure applied to a screen or trackpad to show additional features.
A report on Bloomberg notes that the next-gen iPhones are expected to sport similar exterior designs like the current iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and Apple is scheduled to ramp up their manufacturing in the next month.
Although final assembly is expected to be smooth given the similar design; the timing and production volume of the new iPhones could be impacted due to the supply of Force Touch displays.
The next-gen iPhones, possibly called iPhone 6s, iPhone 6c or iPhone 7, have been also been rumoured to be available in Rose Gold colour to match the Apple Watch colour and sport a 12 megapixel rear camera.
