Anupama star Rupali Ganguly took a short trip to Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, on Sunday. She participated in the revered Bhasma Aarti at the temple and also joined the morning prayers. Accompanying her was her on-screen son from Anupama, Aashish Mehrotra. Several photos and videos of the duo’s visit surfaced on social media. Now, Aashish aka Toshu, has shared a video on his Instagram handle, offering fans a glimpse of his visit to Ujjain with his reel mother.
In the video, both actors can be seen strolling along the bustling streets of Ujjain city. They offered their prayers to Lord Shiva and participated in the sacred Bhasma Aarti at the temple. Furthermore, the actors explored Omkareshwar during their visit and also took a moment to click pictures with their fans. The video also included some pictures of Rupali and Aashish, posing for pictures.

Accompanying the video, Aashish wrote in the caption, “HAR HAR MAHADEV. MAHAKALESHWAR & OMKARESHWAR. Had so much fun…”
The actor also expressed his gratitude in a heartfelt comment on his post, acknowledging the overwhelming love that Anupamaa has been receiving. He wrote, “Love for Anupama is just overwhelming… We cried and loved it so much.”
In an interview with ANI, Rupali shared her experience, saying, “I first visited in 2020, and sitting in the main temple, I received a call for Anupama. It felt like a blessing. Since then, I come here whenever I feel the need. Today’s puja is so sacred that I am moved to tears. Jai Mahakal.”
Rupali Ganguly kicked off 2024 on a spiritual note by traveling to Katra in Jammu to offer prayers at the Vaishno Devi shrine. On Instagram, Rupali shared photos from her temple visit along with a caption, “JAI MATA DI. Wish you all a fabulous 2024. Thank you for the jacket, Gulshan.” In the pictures, she exudes joy while posing for the camera.

Rupali Ganguly made her acting debut with the film Saaheb (1985), followed by an award-winning performance in her father’s film, Balidan (1990). However, she gained recognition for her outstanding performance as Monisha in the hilarious comedy serial Sarabhai V/S Sarabhai (2004). Currently, she portrays the role of lead actor in the show Anupamaa, based on the Bengali series Sreemoyee. The show also features Sudhanshu Pandey as Vanraj, along with Madalsa Sharma and Gaurav Khanna.
