Khatron Ke Khiladi is gearing up for its 14th season. Known for its thrilling stunts and hosted by the dynamic Rohit Shetty, the show has garnered a massive fan base over the years, with its TRPs soaring high and leaving audiences on the edge of their seats. As the casting process for the new season kicks off, several celebrities are reportedly being approached to take on the daring challenges of the show. One name that has surfaced prominently is Gashmeer Mahajani.
Renowned for his portrayal of Aditya Kumar in Imlie, Gashmeer has reportedly been in talks with the makers of the show. According to reports of ETimes TV, sources have revealed that discussions between Gashmeer and the show’s makers are in the final stages, and he might be seen on the reality show.
Gashmeer was personally approached by Rohit Shetty during his appearance as a guest on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, where he extended the invitation to join the Khatron Ke Khiladi family. Despite not participating last year, Gashmeer seems poised to take on the challenge this time around.
Apart from Gashmeer, recent reports also suggest that Samarth Jurel has been approached to join the show, although his participation remains unconfirmed. Meanwhile, Abhishek Kumar, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Mannara Chopra, Shoaib Ibrahim, Vivek Dahiya, Manisha Rani, Abhishek Malhan, Elvish Yadav, Ankita Lokhande, Neil Bhatt, Manasvi Mamgai, Jiya Shankar, Helly Shah, Feroza Khan aka Khanzaadi, and several others are also expected to join the show.
Additionally, there’s speculation regarding a change in shooting location, with Cape Town being replaced by potential alternatives such as Thailand, Georgia, or Bulgaria. The shoot is slated to commence in May, with the show expected to premiere on-air in June.
Gashmeer Mahajani is a familiar face in both Marathi cinema and Hindi television. He is the son of veteran actor Ravindra Mahajani, a popular figure in Marathi films. Gashmeer’s journey in showbiz began with his debut in P. Som Shekar’s film Muskurake Dekh Zara in 2010. However, he gained fame in 2015 with his Marathi debut films Carry On Maratha and Deool Band. He also received a Filmfare Award Marathi for Best Male Debut.
He has also graced the small screen with his presence in notable television shows like Imlie and Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal.
