Although the surprised user found this enlightening, another user retweeted with further details.
The user claimed to have airdropped the whole suite of Apple Pro Apps during a recent visit to the 5th Avenue Apple Store in New York.
“Basically stole $600 worth of software from the Apple Store lol,” the person stated.
Sharing the screenshots of the airdropped apps, the list included: Logic Pro X, Motion, Compressor, and Final Cut Pro.

It appears that you could have just strolled into the Apple store and airdropped professional programmes to your device all this time. This method appears to work on the Mac App Store, but you will not receive any updates for it.
We assume you would need to make another trip to the store if you wanted to upgrade.
