If you use iOS, you are probably aware that the majority of professional apps aren’t free. Frequent money from subscriptions allows the developer to keep improving the app—bug-fixing, adding new features, keeping up with iOS updates, etc. However, not everyone can afford to spend so much on apps.

Furthermore, the so-called free apps that are out there don’t carry out functions in the same manner as the premium ones. What should you do when you’re caught in this payment dilemma? Remember that every cloud has a silver lining. A user has found a loophole, an exit strategy, an escape route for everyone to break free of payment walls.

An X user discovered and shared that the most sophisticated professional video editing tool from Apple, Final Cut Pro, is available for free airdropping from the Apple Store.

Although the surprised user found this enlightening, another user retweeted with further details.

The user claimed to have airdropped the whole suite of Apple Pro Apps during a recent visit to the 5th Avenue Apple Store in New York.

“Basically stole $600 worth of software from the Apple Store lol,” the person stated.

Sharing the screenshots of the airdropped apps, the list included: Logic Pro X, Motion, Compressor, and Final Cut Pro.

The post had more than 3 million views on the social media platform at the time of reporting.

The comments section was full of users’ insights.

A user pointed out, “You won’t ever be able to update them tho.”

A visibly surprised user commented, “How can u airdrop applications??? When did this happen!!”

Another user asked, “And how about their activation? They just work like that? Doesn’t they track their activation to your Apple ID? Like Adobe does ?”

In response, the user stated that it appears to be a standard app that launches immediately and isn’t connected to any accounts or Apple IDs.

Yet another user humorously noted, “Ok I have seen this post now you can delete it!!!”

It appears that you could have just strolled into the Apple store and airdropped professional programmes to your device all this time. This method appears to work on the Mac App Store, but you will not receive any updates for it.

We assume you would need to make another trip to the store if you wanted to upgrade.

What's your reaction?
