Baby Goat, Stuck On Top Of 100-foot Long Tower In Ireland, Rescued After Three Days
The goat, eight to nine months old, was reportedly injured and was there at the top for around three days.

Many animals can climb steep mountains or structures without any problem but for some animals, it is almost impossible. In a recent development, a baby goat managed to climb a long old tower. Rescue workers were astonished after getting the news as they were curious how the goat climbed such a high structure. The news recently surfaced on the internet creating a buzz among netizens.

The baby goat was reportedly rescued from the top of a 100-foot tower (30.48 meters) near Greencastle, Drumaweer, Ireland. The goat was reportedly injured and was there at the top for around three days. The goat is believed to be around eight to nine months old. The reason for the injury is still unknown.

The goat was spotted by the locals of the place. They tried their best to bring the goat down but failed to do so. Then they contacted the Irish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA), who later rescued the baby goat. According to the viral Instagram post, the goat is a female goat. The caption of the post read, “She was transported to a nearby veterinary practice for an assessment of her injuries and was subsequently treated for a fractured leg.”

The post further stated that the baby goat named Ivy is presently in ISPCA’s Animal Rehabilitation Centre near Ramelton. She will be under observation for six weeks until her leg is healed. The organisation is reportedly making efforts to find out how the goad ended up at the top of the tower. “The ISPCA is following up on a number of enquiries to establish how Ivy ended up on top of the tower and will be appealing for a home, once Ivy has recovered. Anyone with information should contact the ISPCA’s National Animal Cruelty Helpline on 0818 515 515 or email [email protected],” the caption reads.

Many people expressed their love for the organisation as they rescued the baby animal. One user wrote, “All praise to the inspector and team for this rescue!” while another user wrote, “Thank you for rescuing her.”
