The internet has a lot to offer to social media junkies. Content ranging from soothing musical renditions to captivating dance reels and lip-smacking food recipes, online users have ample options to explore. But, short clips showcasing animal antics or majestic wild animals in their natural habitat grab the eyeballs swiftly. Recently, zookeeper Jay Brewer, known for his daring encounters with reptiles and animals that can make any individual tremble, shared a heart-stopping video on Instagram.
In the clip, Brewer nearly escapes being attacked by a giant crocodile lurking in a marshy pond. He captioned the post, “SNEAKY SNEAKY CROC,” and highlighted the importance of staying vigilant while encountering dangerous species.

In the beginning, everything appears calm, with the cameraperson approaching the marshy land. Suddenly, without warning, the massive crocodile lunges out of the water, narrowly missing the cameraman. However, this isn’t the first time Brewer has shared such convoluted content. His videos often showcase his close encounters with dangerous animals, providing viewers with a glimpse into the thrilling world of wildlife.
As soon as the clip was shared, users were quick to share their thoughts. A terrified user wrote, “Imagine there was one in front of you the whole time and you didn’t even realise and make eye contact.” Another commented, “Woah look out. Amazing how he or she camouflaged itself, sneaky predator.” A user simply mentioned, “That was close.”
A while ago, a video of a tiger using its sense of smell and hunting a fawn, hiding in the grass took the internet by storm. The video was shared by IAS officer Sanjay Kumar on X (Formerly Twitter). In the clip, an individual can see how the tiger quickly grabs its prey and walks out with it in its mouth. The video is from the Jim Corbett Resort in Uttarakhand’s Jim Corbett National Park.
