The world of food experimentation knows no bounds, with bizarre food combinations taking the internet storm. Now, a new viral sensation is here to give you a mind-bending experience as it showcases the unexpected fate of our beloved breakfast staple – the omelette. The video making rounds on the internet introduces an unconventional twist to the omelette, being dubbed as ‘daulat ki chaat omelette.’
In the viral footage, the preparation of the bizarre dish begins with a vendor whisking a few eggs into a fluffy foam using an electric hand blender. He then pours this foamy mixture into a hot, buttered pan, adding yolks on top. Chopped onions, tomatoes and coriander follow, along with a sprinkle of turmeric, garam masala, salt and red chilli powder. After flipping the omelette to cook both the sides, he slices it in half with a pizza cutter. On one side, he layers white mayonnaise, cheese slices, chopped onions, tomatoes and coriander. Folding the omelette in half, he finishes with a dollop of mayonnaise and a dash of oregano. Served with bread slices and ketchup, this unique ‘daulat ki chaat omelette’ is now ready to surprise and astound with its bizarre twist.
The video was shared on Instagram by digital creator Rishabh Nirang along with the caption, “Kabhi khaya hai esa omelette (Have you ever eaten such an omelette?)”

Since being shared online, the video has amassed over 3 million views, with social media users unleashing a torrent of reactions in the comment section.
One user couldn’t resist a humourous jab, quipping, “There’s a rule for “Plating”, that never put anything un-edible on plate……. and here we are getting offered some plastics of sauce.”
Another took a playful dig at the vendor saying, “As a medico i see my future good kafi patients honge future aisa sab kha kar (As a medical professional, I foresee a future with many patients if everyone keeps eating like this).”
“The egg yolks are not even cooked,” one user pointed out.
“Bro makes whatever comes in his mind,” chimed in another commenter.
Another user with a serious tone commented, “We need to ban this man from India.”
This was not Daulat’s first omelette adventure. The same vendor had previously concocted another bizarre creation by incorporating Parle-G biscuits and cheese into the mix. But it came as no shock when people were left utterly disgusted with this recipe too, evident from the uproar in the comment box of the post.
