Tanmay Bhat Breaks Silence On Report Claiming His Net Worth Rs 665 Crore
An agency raised eyebrows after they released the estimated net worth of comedian Tanmay Bhat and claimed he's worth Rs 665 crore.

The entertainment industry has witnessed a remarkable shift, as content creators worldwide are adding more value to the market. This evolution has pushed Indian YouTubers such as Ashish Chanchlani, Prajakta Koli, Kusha Kapila, Nikhil Sharma and others to reach new heights. Recently, an agency raised eyebrows after they released the estimated net worth of a few popular content creators. According to the data, comedian Tanmay Bhat tops the list with an alleged net worth of Rs 665 Crore, surpassing fellow creators such as Bhuvan Bam, CarryMinati, Technical Guruji and Ranveer Allahabadia. However, Bhat dismissed the claim and shared that the numbers are far from reality.

According to the list, Gaurav Chaudhari, known as Technical Guruji has a net worth of Rs 356 crore, followed by BB Ki Vines star Bhuvan Bam ranks third with a net worth of Rs 122 crore, Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps stands at number four with a net worth of Rs 59 Crore. Ajey Nagar, popularly known as CarryMinati has a net worth of Rs 50 crore. Soon after the list started making rounds on the internet, Bhat joked about the data and wrote, “I can assure you this number is wildly off – at least for me,” accompanied by multiple laughing emojis.

One user speculated that the estimated net worth should be over thousands crore due to his various sources of income, such as ad revenue from YouTube and Instagram, earnings from AIB and streaming, live shows, ad agency with top, writing for award shows and investments in startups.

Another expressed disappointment that the reported net worth wasn’t accurate and suggested that Tanmay deserved more.

A user claimed that even if the estimate is off by 80%, it’s still quite impressive.

An individual questioned how someone calculated the net worth.

One more jokingly asked Tanmay Bhat to change his surname to Ambani due to such massive wealth.

Talking about finance in an interview with Your Story, Tanmay Bhat earlier shared, “I made a lot of financial mistakes in my life. I invested my own money in building the company. My main motivation to make content and content ke chakkar mai paise ka baat karna in itself was a win for me. I have realised that there are ways for you to make money if you are creative about it. The more you play money games, the more creative you get with it and the quicker you can buy freedom. I think a lot of creators miss that.”

Bhat co-founded All India Bakchod (AIB) in 2013 along with Gursimran Khamba, Rohan Joshi and Ashish Shakya. However, the channel faced several controversies, due to which it was discontinued in 2019. Despite the challenges, Bhat made a comeback during the COVID-19 and produced engaging content.
