A woman from Blaine City, USA, named Hannah Bullerman, had ordered fried pickles and chicken wings. Little had Hannah thought that in an unexpected turn of events, she would find the love of her life that day. In an interview with the People website, Hannah said she liked the delivery driver Alec Hoffman’s eyes. Now, they are engaged and all set to tie the nuptial knot on May 17, 2025. In 2022, Bullerman became home sick from work and decided she needed some fried pickles. She added chicken wings and applesauce to complete the order. “I had a migraine,” she said in the interview. “I didn’t want to make lunch and I happened to see I had a coupon for 20% off, and I love a good coupon.”
As the woman was waiting for her food to arrive, she said she was “kind of stalking the driver’s moves on the app”. Bullerman said that she decided to sneak down in her pajamas to the apartment building lobby. She could snatch the food as soon as he went back to the car. Instead of just dropping it off, the driver began calling her number. Bullerman was not properly dressed and was perplexed at the thought that the driver wanted to give the order to her personally. Hannah’s thoughts, however, changed when she saw the delivery driver who according to her looked cute.
She quickly thanked him for her meal and raced back up the stairs. Bullerman stopped thinking about how kind, sweet and handsome Hoffman was. She sent him a text appreciating his face. The 27-year-old delivery boy was caught off-guard by this message and knew that the girl was hitting on him. He, however, replied to the message with cheesy jokes and soon, they developed a bond that eventually culminated in a relationship.
After a few dates, both realised that they couldn’t live without each other. Hoffman has now advised others to take a risk and send texts to the people they love. He, however, said that it shouldn’t be very hard for people to find the right partner.
