Most brides attending a western Christian wedding have a rather simple way of entering the wedding aisle. However, now a video that shows a woman dropping down on the aisle with a small stunt is raking in likes on Instagram. The undated video shows a woman, dressed in a full wedding gown, catching a spring-type rope and then jumping down to the aisle and landing perfectly. She looks unfazed as she makes the massive jump and her dress, hair, and veil remain in place. It is unclear when and where this video was taken.

Recently, it was posted on Instagram by two popular accounts called @_weddings_pictures and @weddingsfever on January 11. So far, it has gathered over 800 likes. Commenting on it, an Instagram user wrote, “Dulhan ka 9 to 5 Job hai… Circus mein.” This loosely translated to, “The bride has 9 to 5 jobs…in a circus.”

In July last year, an amputee army veteran from the UK and his groomsmen entered the wedding venue in a very adventurous way. The groom Chris Parkes, who lost one leg while serving in Afghanistan, and his nine friends skydived to the Langley Castle, in Northumberland. They managed to pull off this stunt after six months of skydiving training. All of the 10 jumpers ditched the skydiving gear and instead wore black tuxedos as they landed smoothly and safely in front of 200 wedding guests. With this, they managed to create the Guinness World Record for the ‘largest wedding party made up of groom and groomsmen to skydive into a wedding venue’.

The bride, Pippa Rosy, told The Mirror that despite the groom and the groomsmen’s stellar entry, she still managed to have her share of limelight. Pippa, who is also a skydiving enthusiast, said, “Chris is allowed to have a little fancy thing in the day. I got a big, fancy dress. He gets the fancy skydive.”

In March 2021, real-estate professional Ray Armanitook proposed to his partner Kaite when he was skydiving with her.

As they were skydiving, Ray took out a ring that he had kept in his mouth and told Kaite, “I fall in love with you more and more every day. Will you marry me?” Kaite looked surprised and said yes, prompting Ray to happily shout in the air. Ray posted a GoPro video of this proposal on Instagram where it got thousands of likes.
