Why Should Humans Have All The Fun? Monkeys Host Pool Party In This Video

Rising temperatures and scorching heat have left us all yearning for a relaxing vacation to a hill station. While we all are busy just dreaming about it, a group of monkeys in Mumbai have “come up with an amazing plan” to beat the heat. What is it? A fun-filled pool party. On its official X (formerly Twitter page), a non-profit organisation Mumbai March dropped two videos of a group of monkeys “swimming” in a pool. The first clip shows at least half a dozen monkeys playing in the pool. The video was recorded inside a residential complex located in the Borivali area of Mumbai.

In the next clip, we can see that the two pools are interconnected, allowing the monkeys to jump from one spot to another. The videos were shared along with the text, “Monkeys are back swimming at Raheja Borivali Enjoying the Mumbai Heat.”

Watching the monkey’s relaxing in the pool, made many acknowledge the clips. Several users flooded the comments section appreciating the videos. A comment read, “Let them chill in this scorching heat.”

Another commented, “Superb! The earth… belongs to everyone.”

A user said, “Wow, nice fun it looks like!”

Another wrote, “That’s life”.

A few claimed that these monkeys swimming in the pool is acceptable till the time they don’t defecate in there, as a user wrote, “That’s only natural. As long as they’re not defecating, which they don’t because they’re way more etiquette than humans across all ages.”

Of course, this isn’t the first time, a video of monkeys enjoying cold swimming pool water during scorching heat has gone viral. Earlier, a user on X (formerly Twitter) dropped a video, wherein monkeys can be seen jumping inside a pool from a balcony. The clip begins by showing those little daredevils sitting on the balcony of a house overlooking a pool. Within a few seconds, one of those few monkeys does a perfect cannonball splash into the pool and starts swimming. The video was shared along with the text, “Why should humans have all the fun, #animals can enjoy too.”
