Starc shared,” “I do remember fondly the couple of years that I had at the RCB alongside Virat. He was the captain as well. That was the first time I got to know him properly, particularly off the field.”
Speaking on Virat Kohli, the pacer talked about the difference in his character both on and off the field and cited it as something he remembers the most during his time then.
“He is such a different person off the field. Such a humble and warm character off the field and then fiercely competitive on it. I remember that the most about him,” revealed Starc.

The Australian player decided to opt out of the IPL since the 2015 season where he prioritised the red-ball format and has been a crucial part of Australia’s success so far. He finished as the third-highest wicket-taker for Australia with a tally of 55 wickets in 17 matches as Australia went on to clinch the World Test Championship 2021-2023.
His best performance, however, came earlier in 2015 where he managed to lead the bowling attack to secure their fifth World Cup which was jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand. He managed to finish as the highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 22 wickets in eight games as the side went on to beat New Zealand to secure the title. He also became a two-time World Cup winner after helping his side win another title in the 2023 edition beating the hosts India in the finals.
Fans of the IPL will be excited to see Starc return to the tournament after a long spell and will be eager to see him perform for KKR and entertain the crowds with his lethal bowling abilities.
