Third arrest has been made in the Audi hit-and-run case. Sambia Sohrab's friend Johnny has been held in Kolkata. In a self-recorded video, Johnny had revealed that the main accused Sambia was drunk while driving the Audi that mowed down an Indian Air Force corporal during Republic Day rehearsals.
According to sources, Johnny will be produced in court later on Tuesday. Along with Johnny, Delhi-based Shahnawaz Khan alias Sanu, who was arrested on Monday, will also be produced in court. Khan was allegedly with the prime accused, Sambia Sohrab, on the day of the crime.
As per sources, all the three arrested in connection with the case will be questioned together to unearth the truth. Two more accused in the case, Sambia's father and TMC leader Mohammed Sohrab and his elder brother Ambia are still absconding.
Trinamool Congress leader's son Sambia has been charged with murder and criminal conspiracy for allegedly mowing down an IAF officer last week. He has been sent to 14 days police custody.
