Raipur: Bhilai Steel Plant said on Sunday that it grew 1.5 percent, 0.6 percent and 2.9 percent in hot metal, crude steel and saleable steel production respectively from April to Sep 2013, over the corresponding period last year.
Raipur: Bhilai Steel Plant said on Sunday that it grew 1.5 percent, 0.6 percent and 2.9 percent in hot metal, crude steel and saleable steel production respectively from April to Sep 2013, over the corresponding period last year.
Bhilai Steel Plant is the flagship unit of India's largest steelmaker in the public sector.
During the first half (H1) of the financial year 2013-14, production of 2.27 MT of saleable steel was the best ever growth, surpassing the previous best of 2.23 MT recorded in 2010-11.
The loading of saleable steel was also the best ever at 2.24 million tonnes, surpassing the previous best of 2.22 million tonnes recorded in H1 of 2010-11.
