Nagoya (Japan): Jeev Milkha Singh finished a disappointing week with a card of two-over 74 for a total of nine-over 297 to finish tied 49th in the Coca Cola Tokai Classic at the Miyoshi Country Club in Japan on Sunday.
Jeev, who at one stage looked in good nick and was all set for a good finish, began to falter from the third round onwards.
The third-round disaster of eight-over 80 ended all hopes and on Day 4, he had a birdie on the second and a bogey on eighth.
He then ended the round with back-to-back bogeys on 17th and 18th.
Korea's Bae Sang-Moon took the title by one after overcoming a hat-trick of bogeys on seventh, eighth and ninth.
He had a fourth bogey on 11th but an eagle on 13th and birdie on 15th saved his day as he signed for a 73 that held up for a one-shot win over Tadahiro Takayama (72).
While Bae totalled seven-under 281, Takayama's total was six-under 282.
