Understanding of GodFor me, God is a divine energy. I connect and communicate with this energy everyday. He is like a supernatural vibration which, when I experience, makes me feel calm and composed. I feel his presence everywhere and he guides me during my difficult times. But, to be honest, I haven’t understood God fully yet. The reason being the world I’m growing up in. It has only taught me how to contradict theories of what a God actually is. Spiritual belief I think being spiritual is different from being religious. One doesn’t have to perform rituals and ceremonies to prove one’s faith in God. Also, one doesn’t have to visit temples or chant verses to be spiritual. Being spiritual essentially means leading a disciplined life that causes no harm or pain to people around us. Favourite pilgrimage sites Since I’m a photographer by profession, I love to travel and photograph South Indian temples. In fact, I have a huge collection of temple photographs. These were taken based on pure passion and admiration for the architecture and not because of any religious leanings. The temples in Madurai and Karaikudi are my favorite. Also, I travel to Tirupathi with my family, quite often. Faith in miracles I feel miracles happen everyday in our life. We just have to notice them. The greatest miracle that has happened in my life is my association with some of the best people and having some great friends in life.
