Actress Sonam Kapoor, who has shifted base to London after getting married to long-time beau Anand Ahuja in May, took to Instagram on Monday to share a photo with Anand and her parents-in-law.
In the photo, all four them are dressed in black and are smiling at the camera with a scenic London park (full with naked trees and dried leaves all over) in the background. Sonam captioned the image, “Fam .”
A few days ago, Anand also shared a photo of Sonam taking a stroll in a park dressed in all back. “(S)he who cherishes a beautiful vision, a lofty ideal in his heart, will one day realise it. #JamesAllen#everydayphenomenal #FBF,” he captioned it.
On Anaita Shroff’s talk show Feet Up with the Stars, Sonam revealed that Anand initially wanted to set her up with one of his friends. However, the two of them ended up talking the whole time instead. He eventually proposed to her, but without a ring.
She said, “It was supposed to happen sometime in October but a few months before that we were in New York and this one day I was being a brat having a crappy day. I was complaining about how there was no good person in New York when he was biking and I was walking alongside. He just got off and got on one knee and asked if I wanted to marry him.”
On the professional front, Sonam is currently filming Abhishek Sharma’s The Zoya Factor. It also stars Dulquer Salmaan, Angad Bedi and Sonam’s uncle Sanjay Kapoor in important roles. Sanjay will reportedly play Sonam’s father in the film.
She will next be seen alongside Rajkummar Rao and her father Anil Kapoor in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, which is slated to release on February 1, 2019.
