FT Business School Ranking 2023: Ten Indian Institutes in Top 100, Two in Top 50
This year, there are 10 Indian institutes in the top 100 positions, with two of them in the top 50. Additionally, 11 Indian institutions have earned a spot in the FT Masters in Management rankings for 2023.

In the 2023 Financial Times Business School Rankings for MBA programs, six Indian B-Schools have secured top positions. The Indian School of Business (ISB) has claimed the highest spot among Indian B-schools, ranking 39th overall. Notably, ISB ranks 12th in the alumni network category. According to the rankings released on September 10, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) is India’s first top business school to be rated globally. SPJIMR and IIM Ahmedabad are the two Indian management schools that have managed to place in the top 50 in this year’s rating. SPJIMR came in at number 40, followed by IIM Ahmedabad at number 43.

In total this year, there are 10 Indian institutes in the top 100 positions, with two of them in the top 50. Additionally, 11 Indian institutions have earned a spot in the FT Masters in Management rankings for 2023.

ISB students receive a weighted salary offer of $161,331, leading the pack. Following ISB, we have the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad at 51st place, IIM Bangalore at 52nd place, IIM Calcutta at 76th place, IIM Indore at 89th place, and IIM Lucknow at 90th place.

NMIMS Mumbai, School of Business Management is ranked 83rd, followed by the International Management Institute in New Delhi at 84th place, and XLRI-Xavier School of Management at 85th place. The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur is at the 88th position, followed by the Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad at 92nd place and Management Development Institute Gurgaon at 93rd place, according to the ranking list.

Students at IIM Ahmedabad are offered an average salary package of US dollars $ 186,420, and its alumni network is ranked 72nd. According to the FT Business School Rankings 2023, here are the average salary figures of the Indian School of Business (ISB) USD 161,331, IIM Bangalore – $157,514, IIM Calcutta – $1,56,724, IIM Indore – $143,544, and IIM Lucknow – $136,673.

On a global scale, IE Business School secured the top rank, followed by Warwick Business School at 2nd place, Imperial College Business School at 3rd place, Carnegie Mellon: Tepper at 4th place, and University of Massachusetts Amherst: Isenberg at 5th place.
