Union Minister V Muraleedharan on Thursday accused Kerala’s Communist Party of India (Marxist) of threatening him during his election campaign ahead of the Lok Sabha polls. The Union minister also alleged that the CPI (M) goons even attempted to attack the campaign vehicle and hurled abuses at him.
Posting a video of three men on a bike attempting to assault the minister, Muraleedharan took to X and wrote, “I will not be intimidated by the goons of CPI(M) Kerala who threatened me during the campaign and even attempted to attack the campaign vehicle.”
The minister further attacked the left party of being scared by the increasing presence of BJP in the state and said that CPI(M) is worried as the saffron party is receiving massive response in Kerala. Muraleedharan further alleged that the party is resorting to threatening BJP candidates.
