Stories of polygamy are not so uncommon or unheard of anymore. The practice is common in a lot of countries which now includes India too. A video is gaining attention online, which shows three people in a marriage, going through a dilemma. It captures a man and his two wives, literally dividing him. The video is shared on Instagram by an influencer named Sunny Rajput, popular for his two marriages with Roop Rajput and Mansi Rajput. The clip starts with the three sitting, Sunny in the middle and his wives on his either side. A line is drawn in the middle of Sunny’s face, his wives arguing over each side of it. Roop Rajput, who is on his right says, “Ye side meri hai (this side is mine).” While Mansi on the left also says the same thing. Roop later warns her, “Aaj ke baad meri side ko haat bhi mat laga dena (Do not dare touch my side after today).” Mansi then replies in an annoyed tone, “Mai toh apni side pe chand banaungi, kahin teri nazar na lag jaye meri side ko (I will make a moon on my side or else it might catch your evil eye).”
Roop retorts with drawing a sun on her “side” throwing Mansi’s own words at her face. After that, with a smile of glee Mansi just says, “Mai toh apni side ko sundar banana ke liye powder leke aati hun (To make my side beautiful I am bringing powder).” This was the last straw for Roop and she ends up taking out all her anger on her husband, with three slaps.
Netizens react to the clip in the comment section below, unable to lock in their sarcasm. The first user wrote, “Bhai ki halat to bahut buri hai yaar (Brother is in a very bad condition).” A second user stated, “Dono side se pitega hi bhai (You will only get beaten from both sides brother).” A third user wrote, “Bohot achchi kismat hai bhai aapku (You have a very good fortune brother).” The video has been liked over 1,21,000 times and has gained 9 million views on the platform.
